History

The 307RS(1) Unit was formed at Mascot in New South Wales December 1942. It moved to Darwin January 1943 before relocating to Peron Island 19 March 1943. The Unit was renumbered to 61RS(4) 1 May 1944 and disbanded 18 April 1946.,
